Today, I am counting my blessings. Sure, we struggle financially, and have a few health issues to get through but, we are here. I get down every so often, but I know I am a very lucky girl! God has been so good to me!
First, I am blessed with a hubby who loves me. I trust him with every fiber of my being. We are and will always be the best of friends.
Next, I have two of the most wonderful children in the world. My so, Justin, is 15, brilliant, sooo musically gifted, and has a heart of gold. His intelligence in almost anything you throw at him completely blows my mind! I know that he will go on to be a great success when he gets older. My daughter McKenna, is 8, amazing, hilarious, smart, and loves everyone. She makes friends with almost everyone she meets and she is a top student in 2nd grade. There's no doubt in my mind that she will achieve whatever dream she desires when she becomes an adult.
My Momma is also a wonderful blessing in my life. She has helped make me who I am and gives unconditional love to her family at all times. She lives her life for God and always thinks of others first.
I am also very blessed with my husband's loving family. They are MY family as much as they are his. I cannot thank them all enough for making me feel like I belong so much.
Two other blessings I am very thankful for are my two puppygirls. It is mindboggling how attached a family can be to their pets. We love our girls, Bailey & Rylie so much and hope to have them as part of our family for many years.
I am also blessed to have a home. It isn't fancy, but it doesn't have to be. In one more month it will be paid off in full! It's a place we can relax in and enjoy.
Finally, I am blessed with my work. I feel very lucky to be able to earn a living from my own home. I love my work and love the ability to work on my own terms, when I want and how much I want.
So, even though times get hard sometimes, I have many, many things to be thankful for. I have wonderful people in my life, jobs that work for me, and a place to lay my head every night. Who could ask for anything more?
